Breast pain and swelling during the week before menstrual periods. Normal in 10% of teens and 50% of adult women.

A hoarse voice (or cry) is raspy and deeper than normal. If hoarseness is severe, the child can do little more than whisper.

Child put a foreign body (FB) in their nose. The child tells the parent or the parent see a strange object in child’s nose. Your doctor or nurse says it is safe to try to remove it at home. That’s only helpful for small, harmless objects.

A cast is a hard shell that completely covers a bone fracture. Also called a full cast. It keeps broken bones from moving until they heal. That also reduces pain. It also protects the injured part from any more injury.

Headaches often are caused by stress. Headaches occur when your child is worried about something or under pressure. These are often called “stress headaches.”

Cramps in the lower belly or pelvis. They start during the first 1 or 2 days of a girl’s period. Cramps only happen during menstrual bleeding. Report of cramps in the past are helpful. Cramps often don’t start until periods are present for over 1 year.
