Meet our friendly, experienced practitioner and staff at Caring Hands Children's Clinic, LLC! Our entire team is dedicated to helping you and your child feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. We're proud to be members of the Monticello community and serve the needs of their children.

We pride ourselves in being an exceptional clinic where children come first. Our child-focused practice works hard to meet the needs of children from infancy through adolescence. Compassionate, knowledgeable and supportive staff is the cornerstone of Caring Hands Children's Clinic, LLC's quality care. Our practitioner and medical staff are highly trained professionals, and maintain current knowledge and skills in pediatrics to address the special needs of infants, children, and teens.

Our Providers 

Deontranese T. Taylor, MSN, FNP-C

Deon has a caring heart and a giving spirit.  She is compassionate about the medical field and loves to care for children.  Deon was raised in Monticello and graduated from Lawrence County High School.   She feels very fortunate to live and work in her hometown and is dedicated to improving the health and well being of all children.  She is motivated by a desire to improve the health, knowledge, and medical outcomes of her patients.

Deon received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Copiah Lincoln Community College, her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Alcorn State University, and her Master of Science Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Alabama at Birmingham.  She maintains her board certification from AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners) as a FNP.

Deon began her nursing career at the University Mississippi Medical Center in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).  She has always sought opportunities to expand her knowledge in healthcare and to remain versatile in the field of nursing.  Since the days in the NICU, she has had many job opportunities that have afforded her the opportunity to care for clients of all ages and in numerous outpatient and inpatient settings.  Her healthcare experience includes many years as a Registered Nurse in neonatal intensive care, pediatric care, well baby nursery, surgery, critical care, long term care, and hospice care.  She has worked in pediatric primary care practice with patients from birth to 21 years of age since becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and pediatric primary care is now her passion.

She enjoys working with children and parents who are ready and willing to take an active role in their children’s health care, especially in terms of disease prevention.  She works collaboratively with physician specialists and primary care physicians.

When not at the clinic, she spends her time with her family.  She is married with five children and one grand-daughter.   In her free time she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family.


Molly Mayhugh, MSN, FNP-C

Molly is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She was raised in Monticello and currently lives in New Hebron with her husband and three children.  Molly graduated from Lawrence County High School, class of 2009, where  she graduated with high honors.  After high school, Molly attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg where she obtained a bachelors degree in Nursing.  After graduating from nursing school, she worked a total of 4 years in the NICU at River Oaks and UMMC.
 
Molly received her Masters Degree in Nursing Practice in May of 2018.  She has served as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Simpson County over the last 3 years.  Her experience has been caring for individuals across the lifespan from birth to geriatrics.  She is very excited to return to Lawrence County to pursue Pediatric Primary Care at Caring Hands Children’s Clinic.  Molly has an outgoing, loving personality and is excited to return to her hometown to provide pediatric care to the community. 




Brandy C. Wilson, MSN, FNP-C

Brandy is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was raised in Monticello currently resides in Monticello with her husband  and two children. She is a graduate of Lawrence County High School, class of 2006, where she graduated with honors. Right out of high school she pursued her Associate Degree in Nursing from Southwest Mississippi Community College. She furthered her nursing education by receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, where she graduated with honors.

Brandy began her nursing career at Kings Daughters Medical Center working in telemetry and the emergency department. She left Kings Daughters to care for home bound patients in Lawrence County, where she served the communities of Lawrence County for 6 years while working for St. Luke Home Health. While in graduate school, she began working in the emergency department of Lawrence County Hospital. She has over 10 years of healthcare experience ranging office, emergency medicine, and home-health care.  Brandy is a board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Brandy is known for her compassion, kind spirit, and loving personality. She has spent the majority of her nursing career caring for the patients of Lawrence County. She is known for treating her patients like family. She feels more than blessed to be able to continue caring for the residents of the town that she loves so much.



Constance Bradford MSN, FNP-C

Constance practices as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in the medical field. Currently, she resides in Monticello, MS with her husband, Alex Bradford of 20 years, and 5 children; Jalyn, Jeremiah, Madison, Kennedy, and Lauren. In, 2004, she graduated from Central Texas College with her Associate Degree in Nursing. In 2011, she obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Alcorn State University. In 2014, she graduated with Highest Honors with her Master's of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner field from Alcorn State University. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She advocates for her patients and community by providing them with the highest quality of care. She treats them as she would any member of her family. She puts God first in all that she does and desires to build a healthier, happier community.





Jennifer Meilstrup, MSN, CPNP-PC

Jenni is a board certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Associate Degree of Nursing from Southwest Mississippi Community College. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing Primary Care Pediatrics from University of South Alabama where she graduated with honors. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

Jenni has spent her career dedicated to the pediatric population. She has worked in the Pediatric Emergency Room at UMMC and the nursery at River Oaks Baby Suites. She spent 16 years at KDMC in the Newborn and NICU nurseries. For the past 5 years, she has served children and their families in McComb.

Jenni was born and raised in Brookhaven. She and her husband have 2 girls, 2 boys, and a wonderful son-in-law. She enjoys gymnastics, cheerleading, and her favorite sport baseball.

With an enthusiastic spirit, Jenni is passionate about caring for children. She listens to parents and works closely with them to provide the best care for their child.



Blaine C. Britt, MD

Dr. Blaine Britt is a very compassionate and loving person.  He has a passion for helping others.  He is well known by his colleagues for his gentleness, his ability to put both his patients and their parents at ease, and his tireless dedication to promoting good health and improving the quality of life and wellbeing of his patients.

Dr. Britt is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.  Dr. Britt earned his Medical Degree from the University of Mississippi.  He completed his internship and residency at the University of South Alabama. He currently resides in Brookhaven with his wife Amber, and their five children. He currently practices at KDMC Family Practice Clinic in Brookhaven MS and serves as collaborating physician for Caring Hands.
